The component contributes to a better acceptance of wind energy in the general public by educational advertising and marketing and by demonstrating and publishing environmental and economic advantages. It is going to support the broad democratisation of wind energy planning processes by using modern information and communication technologies.Among others, the component is going to investigate public acceptance of wind parks, analyse the structure of existing information networks and determine factors for public opinion. With standardized international approaches models for improving wind energy acceptance are going to be developed that focus on selected target groups and/or spatial usage requirements. Another crucial point will be the analysis of compensation potentials and the development of compensation models. A catalogue of typical information ways, opinion processes and political action templates will be developed. Best practice examples give recommendations on optimising wind energy implementation in local and regional conflict areas. One practical example will be the integration of wind energy utilisation in tourist programmes (e.g. info tool for renewable energy). |
