Windenergy energy education and dissemination - teaching and qualification of specialists

This component focuses on the teaching of future wind energy specialists via online-courses (e-learning). The courses disseminate current research results, practical experiences and recommendations to the public, authorities and municipalities.

The involved partners cooperate in the wind energy expert training for "general wind energy knowledge" and specialised planning-know-how, enabling future experts living in regions that step into the wind energy market to gain an international-standard education and to get jobs within this upcoming branch.

Certified wind energy courses "Wind power - an introduction", "Wind power technology" and "Wind energy planning" will display a co-operation product of countries with differing wind energy experiences and form the basis for expert training in the wind energy field all over Europe. All three courses make use of the project results from all components.
